The "All-inclusive" Seminars

These seminars are intended for stakeholders mobilizing financial resources for GEF, FA, GCF, and Loss and Damage Fund projects and programs. This includes senior officials from ministries and other entities involved in the preparation and implementation of environmental projects, including focal points for Multilateral Environmental Agreements (MEAs).

Our seminars take place at the heart of key green finance decision-making spheres. Participants are encouraged to approach the training from their own perspective. To this end, they are invited to come to the training with concrete needs and problems to solve, which will serve as a basis for discussion and work.

Washington DC – April 2025

From April 27 to May 8, 2025, this intensive 10-day seminar is designed for senior ministerial officials, consultants, and executives involved in mobilizing financial resources for environmental projects (GEF, FA, GCF, Loss and Damage Fund). Structured around five modules, it combines theoretical training with practical immersion, including visits to the World Bank, GEF, FA, and USAID. Participants will develop skills in strategic planning, grant writing, and networking, and will leave with a Certificate in Strategic Management of Country Project Portfolios.

Hosted by the Dr. Sallou Gaye NDOYELed by an expert in environmental governance with 20 years of experience (UNDP, USAID, IUCN), the training emphasizes a participatory approach: participants work on concrete cases and develop implementation plans tailored to their specific contexts. The program also includes exchanges with leading practitioners and immersion in the decision-making circles of Washington, D.C., thus strengthening the operationalization of acquired knowledge for the effective mobilization of climate funds.
